Faith is responsible for providing national leadership and direction for human resources strategies, policies and procedures, ensuring they are in compliance with legislation and corporate objectives. She directs strategies for employee relations, performance management, training and development, talent management, benefits administration, compensation, and recruitment and selection.
Prior to her most recent promotion, Faith held positions as Assistant Vice-President, Human Resources and Director, Human Resources. Since joining FCT in 2006, her hard work and innovative spirit have been recognized with back-to-back Leadership Awards of Excellence awards in 2007 and 2008.
Faith brings a well-rounded breadth of experience to FCT, having been in senior human resources management positions in the pharmaceutical industry with companies such as Sanofi Pasteur and GlaxoSmithKline; in the industrial sector as human resources manager for the engineering firm Husky Injection Molding.
Faith holds a bachelor of arts in labour relations from the University of Toronto; a business administration diploma in marketing from Sheridan College; as well as an adult training and development certificate from the Ontario Institute for Studies in Education (OISE) at the University of Toronto. She will receive her masters of human resources management from York University in 2011. Faith is a member of the Human Resources Professional Association (HRPA) and the Canadian Society for Training and Development (CSTD).
Faith shares her passion for education by being a proud sponsor of the "Getting to School and Staying in School" program in Port Antonio, Jamaica. She also enjoys mentoring junior HR professionals through the HRPA and volunteering at a variety of events in her community.
